See where it all began! Casa Vicens was Antoni Gaudí‘s first major commission, and its legacy can be felt throughout all of the master architect’s finest work. It was built as a summer garden house for Manuel Vicens i Montaner, and kickstarted the Modernism movement in Europe.

Yes. The toilets are located on floor -1 and are open, with full safety and hygiene measures in place. Follow the established itinerary or ask our staff for help if you need to visit the toilet before the end of your house tour.
Is the lift in service?
Use of the lift is reserved preferentially for persons with reduced mobility and elderly people, and is limited to one person or a family unit. We recommend admiring our stairway, work of the architects Martínez Lapeña – Torres and Daw Office.
